The 24 have returned triumphantly from China after a very successful tour! A great time was had by all and our concerts were very well received by large audiences in fantastic venues. You can find out more about the tour on our China Tour page and read our individual musings on our blog.
In the meanwhile - wish you'd heard our fantastic singing but couldn't make it to Shanghai? Well now you can! Come to the Triumphant Return Concert on 27th April, 1.30pm in the Unitarian Chapel St. Saviourgate, York.
Here are a couple of samples from the Shanghai concert to whet your appetite:
This time next week we'll be in China. We are extremely excited! So excited in fact that we've created a blog so you can track our journey through the various concert halls and landmarks. We'll be (wi-fi permitting) updating the blog every day with thoughts, photos, recordings and videos of the group.
Our second fundraising concert, A second evening with the 24, will be on this Thursday 7.30pm in St. Helen's Church, York. It will be a fun filled evening involving solos and ensembles by the talented members of the 24, and entrance is free. Donations will be taken for our China Tour.
The 24 will be performing two concerts with Serbian musicians next Saturday and Sunday in London and York respectively. The concerts will follow the path of the emporer Constane from Nis (in Serbia) to Londinium and then on to our home town Eboracum! London concert details here and York concert details here.
Following the hugely successful Fit for a King event at York Minster in 2011, we return to this richly historical venue to witness a Viking wedding followed by musical celebration, including contributions from the fantastic Sarah Dean & Soundsphere. Don't miss this unique opportunity for a special experience in a magical setting in which the 24 will be performing. Click here to find out more information.
